Democratic vice presidential nominee Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is in battleground Pennsylvania on Thursday, as early voting in the state winds down ahead of Election Day.
His remarks from Erie come a day after the state’s Democratic Party filed a lawsuit against the county, arguing that many voters had yet to receive mail-in ballots. Former President Trump has also begun to sow doubt about election results in the critical swing state with explosive and misleading claims about potential fraud.
With less than a week left in the White House race, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows Trump leading Vice President Harris in the Keystone State by half a point — 48.5 percent to 48 percent.
Walz held an event in Bucks County, Pa., earlier Thursday.
The event in Erie is scheduled to begin at 4:45 p.m. EDT.
