Montgomery County Man Arrested on Multiple Charges for Retail Theft

The Leesburg Police Department arrested a Takoma Park, Maryland man in connection with a series of retail thefts at several local businesses. According to police, “On October 17, 2024, at approximately 3:49 p.m., officers responded to the Burberry store at the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall, 241 Fort Evans Road NE, Leesburg, for a report of two individuals who removed merchandise without paying. One of the subjects fled the scene in a vehicle and the other ran on foot. Officers were able to locate the individual in the car and recovered the stolen merchandise from the Burberry store. The identity of the subject who ran on foot remains under investigation.
