2 men injured in Brooklyn shooting: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating a shooting that wounded two men in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon.

At 1:27 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call about a man shot at 335 Fountain Ave. in East New York.

Upon arrival, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. A 24-year-old man was shot in the back of his shoulder and a 19-year-old was grazed in his back by a bullet, officials said.

EMS transported both victims to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

There have been no arrests made so far and an investigation remains ongoing.
