CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A bizarre early-morning theft in Clovis has left a woman without the wheels on her car. Security footage shows the thieves leaving her Toyota Corolla on bricks after making off with all four of her wheels.
“I just am in complete and utter shock,” said Dominique Lee. “I immediately called my mom. And I’m just crying because I’m supposed to go to work. I have things to do. I can’t afford this.”
Dominique Lee lives in an apartment complex close to the intersection of Bullard Avenue and Minnewawa Avenue in Clovis. On the morning of Oct. 24, she was awoken by the news that her wheels were no longer on her car.
“So I go out there, me and my boyfriend, and we just take a look at the car, and it’s just absolutely devastating.”

Dominique called Clovis Police and filed a report. She was also able to get security footage of the theft – and the people responsible. The footage can be seen in the video player above.
