Dreaming of living it up in an ultra-luxurious Atlanta home with ties to movie star history? If you’ve got about $4 million or so to spare, you can stake your claim on this nearly 18,000-sq. ft. Fairburn estate, originally built and owned by famed filmmaker Tyler Perry.
Not only was the home custom built by Tyler Perry, but the property was even featured in one of Perry’s best-known films. Now owned by a private citizen, the Atlanta Metro-area mansion is back on the market once more for $3.9 million, and we’re going gaga over the listing!
According to Atlanta’s 11 Alive , the sprawling mansion (originally built in 2003) was featured in Perry’s first feature film , Diary of a Mad Black Woman . Located in the Chattahoochee Hills subdivision of Fairburn, GA, the estate sits about 24 miles outside of downtown Atlanta, where Tyler Perry’s production studio is based. Perry finally sold the home to a private owner several years ago, and its current owner has once again put the property back up for sale.
