The final day of ZooBoo gives adults a Halloween experience in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Halloween fun in Fresno did not only include the kids, but the adults too. The Fresno Chaffee Zoo hosted the final night of ZooBoo, a 21-and-over event that took over the zoo grounds.

“We’re so excited to be here. It’s our second time coming. We came here a few years ago. Took a break, and we’re here tonight on Halloween of all days,” Katie Vaughan and Kassandra Camorlinga said.

Whether dressing up for the first time or taking kids to their first Halloween event, the spooky fun was there to enjoy.

“I just thought we should be retro 80’s toys and there was a box lying there. And I said let’s paint it up. Got some foam boards at the 99 cent store, or the dollar tree, and just said let’s do it,” Cynthia and Clint Rutherford said.

It was the final night of ZooBoo at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, an adult-only Halloween outing.

“It seems more peaceful without the kids running around. I went to the reptile house for the first time, and I was like oh, I’m normally in the back and I got to be up close looking at some lizards. It was really cool,” Katie Vaughan and Kassandra Camorlinga said.
