Arguments will continue on day two of an important hearing in the El Paso Walmart mass shooting case as defense attorneys and state prosecutors fight over allegations of prosecutorial misconduct .
The hearing will begin at about 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 31, at the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse in Downtown El Paso. Judge Sam Medrano of the 409th District Court will preside over it.
It is a continuation of a hearing held Thursday, Oct. 31.
The first day of the hearing focused on testimony from former Assistant District Attorney Lorette Hewitt over her concerns about El Paso District Attorney’s Office staff mishandling important evidence in the case, including jailhouse conversation between the gunman and his attorneys and interviews about the gunman’s mental health with former neighbors.

The hearing is expected to last most of the day as several motions filed in the case will be heard by Medrano.
