Erie’s winter parking rules are back in effect.
Mayor Joe Schember’s administration is reminding residents that the city moves to odd-even winter parking rules on Friday.
Those rules will stay in place until March 31.
Parking will be limited to one side of the street in designated areas, depending on the date, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Odd-even rules regulate parking during the winter months to make it easier for city streets crews to plow snow.
If a snow emergency is declared, city officials will enforce the rules through that weekend and the public will be notified, according to Schember’s office.
