Deer have been a factor in several crashes recently, including one on the Pennyrile Parkway Halloween morning that resulted in injuries. According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Robert Lewe of Crofton was heading south on the Parkway near the 12-mile marker just before 7 a.m. when a deer entered his path in the roadway.
