This vision is now closer to reality, thanks to a breakthrough by surgeons from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern) in collaboration with researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), who have developed a 3D printed femur that could transform how doctors prepare for bone surgeries.
