(WSYR-TV) — With the Cathedral Academy at Pompei closing last year, many people were left wondering if the annual election day dinner would continue.
Well, no need to worry because we’re here to tell you that the tradition will stay. Father Brendan Foley from Our Lady of Pompei; Lucy Paris, the event coordinator, and Jim Robinson, the coordinator and cook of the kitchen, joined Bridge Street Friday to discuss their mission and how they’ve been doing this event for 75 years.
The 75th Annual Spaghetti Supper will be held on November 5th, Election Day, from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Cathedral Academy at Pompei Cafeteria at 915 North McBride Street.
Meals for adults cost $12 and children 5-10 cost $7. Kids five and under are free.
