BENSON – A 63 year-old man died in a single vehicle accident Friday morning on Stephenson Road just west of NC 50. The Highway Patrol said Dane Browder of Benson was traveling westbound in his 1999 Pontiac Firebird convertible when he ran off Stephenson Road to the right, struck a ditch and overturned.
