Residents of East Montgomery and Pike Road are upset over a proposed rezoning of property that could cause an uproar in their quiet area. The Montgomery City Council will soon take up a proposed rezoning of property in the Montgomery city limits that could bring a new shopping center to the corner of Ray Thorington Road and Pike Road. Residents say it could potentially bring even more traffic to the 3,000+ home area and they are afraid this potential business area might also bring crime right to their front door.
