HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Murder charges have been refiled against an Evansville man from back in 2022.
Sgt. Trudy Day confirmed this with Eyewitness News Friday afternoon.
Prosecutors have refiled charges against Michael Thomas after his original case of murder was dismissed without prejudice in July 2023.
This stems from an incident back 2022 when Thomas was originally arrested and charged for the murder of Patrick White after white went missing in July 2022.
White’s body was later found wrapped in a blanket.
In September 2024, Thomas was arrested and accused of confining and assaulting a woman.
