88-year-old woman dies after crashing into tree in Northwest DC, police investigating

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after an 88-year-old woman died after crashing into a tree in Northwest D.C.

On Oct. 24 at about 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash.

Man shot, killed in Northeast DC

Police report that a woman was driving north on the 1800 block of Foxhall Rd. when she hit the curb, lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree.

The woman was transported to the hospital. She died on Oct. 30 of her injuries.

The woman was identified as 88-year-old Francoise Parmentier of Northwest, D.C.
