Route 146 North lanes reopen after brush fire in Lincoln

LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — The northbound lanes of Route 146 in Lincoln are flowing freely again after an apparent brush fire broke out on the side of the highway Friday afternoon.

Firefighters worked to spray down the area near Route 116.

Route 146 North was temporarily reduced to one lane and surrounding traffic was backed up in the area as a result.
