1 dead following South Nashville shooting, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person died after a shooting took place in South Nashville Saturday night, according to authorities.

Metro Nashville dispatch said the incident was reported just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 in the 700 block of Hill Avenue.

1 injured in gas station shooting on Brick Church Pike

Members of the Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 they found a dead man and a woman with a pistol in her hand when they arrived at the scene.

Officers said they believe there was an argument and then the situation escalated.

Detectives have detained the woman, according to law enforcement.
