Erie County restaurant inspections for Oct. 24-31, 2024

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Oct. 23 through Thursday.

5 critical violations

Sanders Markets , 109 W. Main St., North East Boro. (Spray bottle has too much sanitizer for food-grade surfaces; produce items outdated and rotting, back door frame needs repaired to prevent pests, fruit flies present, person in charge does not have adequate knowledge of food safety.) Also four noncritical violations. Oct. 24.

3 critical violations

Saigon Nights , 2430 W. Eighth St., Millcreek Township. (Food debris built up on many surfaces, chopped garlic left out at room temperature, and on cutting board. Prep table and exhaust hood have food debris build-up.) Also one noncritical violation. Tuesday

2 critical violations

Krazy Kitchen , 1018 State St. (Raw hamburger stored above ready-to-eat food; no certified food safety employee posted.) Tuesday.

1 noncritical violation
