Browns helmets will have a little bit different of a look on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The. team revealed on Sunday that they’ll be honoring late broadcaster Jim Donovan with a sticker on the back of the team’s helmets. The sticker features Donovan’s initials and a silhouette of a microphone. A fitting tribute for the longtime voice of the Browns.
Donovan died late last month after a long battle with leukemia. He was 68.
After Donovan’s passing, tributes to the popular announcer poured out. They even reached the World Series .
The Browns even managed to get a win the week following Donovan’s passing. Donovan, along with former kicker Phil Dawson, was inducted into the Browns Legends earlier this year .
