As the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills prepare for a Week 9 AFC East rivalry game in Orchard Park at 1:00, social media stirred Sunday morning. NFL Insider, Adam Schefter resurfaced quotes from a summer podcast appearance by Miami Dolphins tight end, Jonnu Smith.
Smith, in his first year with the Dolphins, appeared on ” The Dive Bar Podcast ” prior to the start of the regular season. Smith joined the trio of podcasters and discussed plenty of topics from football to food. Yet in a specific few quotes from the show, Schefter may have made Smith a marked man as he enters Highmark Stadium today.
Signed by the Dolphins this past offseason, Smith was adamant about his thoughts of Buffalo, as indicated in his quotes. He even went to the way of the wing, and was forthright about his food review. “The Buffalo wings ain’t even good,” as Smith told the podcast, in what could be the sentence that stings Buffalonians the most.
He did go a bit further saying Buffalo was, “the worst place you can be in the world.” These words have traveled through the Bills fan base across social media.
