Opinion: For the 2024 election, The Fayetteville Observer and WIDU radio have you covered.

Early voting ended Saturday, so if you have not voted, your voting plan becomes pretty simple. It has to be Tuesday.

Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in North Carolina. Check the Cumberland County or N.C. State Board of Elections websites to find your polling precinct, or put “voter lookup NC” in Google and that’ll put you on the good foot.

Meanwhile you can use your free time between now and then to get caught up on the candidates and races.

You likely won’t be surprised that I recommend fayobserver.com’s Voting Guide for the 2024 election, where we have candidate questionnaires for local and state races, including the crowded field running for seats on the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners and county Board of Education.

We have been talking about the election for many weeks now, and past shows are available.
