Tragic Crash on Michigan Interstate Kills Four

A semi-truck slammed into stopped traffic on Interstate 96 in Michigan late Saturday night, resulting in a fatal accident. Four people were killed, and 17 others were injured.

State police officers were directing traffic while power lines were being installed across the highway. Several vehicles had stopped on the westbound lane when the crash occurred.

The vehicles were just starting to move again when the truck, apparently unable to see the backup, crashed into them. The truck and multiple vehicles caught fire, adding to the devastation.

Seventeen injured individuals were rushed to local hospitals with serious injuries.
