GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The tropics are stirring to life again, with a new system emerging from the Caribbean. After monitoring the western Caribbean Sea for much of the past week, the National Hurricane Center officially designated Potential Tropical Cyclone Eighteen on Sunday evening. The system is center a few hundred miles south of Jamaica and is set to begin a gradual northwesterly jog this week.
