The November election is just days away, and with many local and statewide seats on the ballot, local Republican candidates came to a local restaurant to share some final remarks with the public.
Republican voters packed into the Honey Baked Ham Company on Peach Street to support their local candidates and their policies.
“We just know that there’s a lot of us that really want the same great things. We want the border shut down. We want our food costs and our gas prices where they need to be and all Americans to have great jobs,” said Chris Knight, a Republican voter.
The event was supposed to be headlined by U.S. Senate Candidate Dave McCormick and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, but after a Trump rally went late in Lancaster, the army veteran didn’t make it to Erie in time.
