HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A man was arrested in Evansville Sunday after police say he crashed his motorcycle in front of them.
A man latter identifies as Nazhee Flowers crashed his motorcycle outside of an Evansville bar on Franklin Street Sunday morning. An affidavit obtained by Eyewitness News says police were already on scene and saw the incident happen.
Flowers was asked to perform a sobriety test which police say he failed. When officers were arresting Flowers, he became uncooperative and belligerent. During a search police found a grey crystal-like substance in his pocket that latter was identified as meth.
Police say he threatened ten officers at the scene saying he would fight them. Police go on to say that he tried to kick out a window in the patrol car.
The affidavit says Flowers continued to be belligerent at the hospital while getting jail clearance. Once cleared Flowers was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he told officers to “die in a fire.”
