LAWRENCE – Katrina Nguyen, the driver charged with killing two men in a hit-and-run crash on Route 495 in Methuen, is due in court Monday.

Nguyen, 26, is accused of crashing her car into a pickup truck on 495 north around 6 a.m. Saturday and then driving away.

Two men in the truck, 41-year-old Kenny Milanez and 37-year-old Celso Diaz, both of Worcester, died. Two others in the truck were hurt. All four were on their way to work in New Hampshire when their truck slammed into a tree on the median, trapping them inside.

The Essex District Attorney’s Office said Nguyen later turned herself in to Lawrence Police.

She will be arraigned in Essex County Superior Court in Lawrence on two counts of motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, leaving the scene resulting in death, leaving the scene with personal injury, leaving the scene with property damage, and operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
