Monday 9-hour forecast: Isolated showers expected by noon as temperatures slowly drop

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Wake up El Paso, we’re forecasting chilly temperatures as we start the morning with Miner Morning Mania at UTEP.

By 11 a.m. temperatures will continue to feel colder as partly cloudy skies remain in place. Although we may see mostly clear skies at 3 p.m., isolated showers and windy conditions are predicted to linger.

Expect a 20 percent chance of precipitation with winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph west then diminishing to 15 to 20 mph by noon. However, skies will begin to clear up with north winds dropping down 5 mph after midnight.

Make sure to drive with caution and keep an eye out for puddles as isolated showers are expected to increase in some parts of the Sun City area.
