PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Pinellas County voters now have extra options when it comes to casting their ballots.
You can vote on Monday and on election day at all three of the Supervisor of Elections offices like the one on Starkey Road.
Florida’s 6 ballot amendments explained
This change means there are now seven locations in Pinellas County that voters can use for early voting. All the early voting locations are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The extra accommodations are a result of Gov. Ron Desantis extending an executive order.
“Take advantage of early voting,” political expert Tara Newsom said. “Pinellas County, just as a side note, is a little different. The governor extended an executive order all the way to election day because of the hurricane impact and so there’s really no reason for those people, whether they vote Republican or Democrat to not come out and vote.”
Pinellas County has a little over 641,000 registered voters, and as of Thursday, votepinellas.org reported a 43% voter turnout already.
