1 killed in Creek County crash

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said one person is dead after a crash on the Turner Turnpike Sunday.

OHP said a Jeep driving eastbound on the Turner Turnpike, around three miles west of Kellyville, hydroplaned and hit a semitruck. After hydroplaning, the Jeep left the road and hit a concrete barrier.

OHP said both vehicles caught on fire.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead on the scene and the driver of the semi truck was not hurt, OHP said.

OHP has not identified the driver of the Jeep.
