Ferndale, CA – Two earthquakes shook Northern California’s coastline early Monday, sending tremors through the region near Ferndale. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the first quake registered at magnitude 4.0 and struck around 159 kilometers west of Ferndale at 10:41 a.m. local time. Just seconds later, a second tremor with a magnitude of 3.2 hit about 45 kilometers west of Ferndale, at a depth of 15.1 kilometers.
