SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A bumpy night ahead for the ArkLaTex as a line of strong storms very slowly pushes east through the region. This line will likely impact places around Texarkana and the I-30 corridor closer to midnight but not reaching Shreveport & Bossier until 4 or 5AM on Thursday. The highest risk of severe weather will be prior to midnight across our northwest zones where damaging wind and few tornadoes can’t be ruled out. By the time the storms reach northwest Louisiana, they will be weakening with mainly a heavy rainfall threat.
