Deputies need help solving Kingsburg man’s death

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Deputies are asking for help solving the suspicious death of a Kingsburg man in 2021.

Deputies say the evening of Aug. 16, 2021 , Kingsburg Police responded to a shots fired call on the 1700 block of 18th Avenue in Kingsburg. Officers reported finding 23-year-old Shawn Vigo lying in the roadway suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kingsburg Police asked for help from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office; deputies determined Vigo was targeted.

Over the past three years, deputies say they have spoken to several people but want to speak with anyone they might have not already contacted who has information about the deadly shooting.
