Flamethrower, guns recovered as Chicago cops bust street takeover: report

CHICAGO – A Missouri man faces firearms and other charges after Chicago police said he participated in a donut-spinning street “takeover” early Sunday in Gage Park. Emmanuel Wilson, 30, of Columbia, Missouri, was dressed in a police costume when CPD officers arrested him in the 5600 block of South Kedzie around 2:44 a.m. Sunday. The real cops found an assortment of takeover paraphernalia in his 2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat, which was equipped with police lights and a siren, including a flamethrower and a collection of license plates, according to his arrest report.
