Police say the investigation found that Brown’s phone was taken during the smoke shop fight, and he was able to track it down to a home along the 400 block of Avenue K.
During interviews, police learned that Gonzales and Brown got into a fight at the smoke shop before going to Diaz’s apartment. Police say Diaz then provided them with two handguns and they all went to the home where they tracked Brown’s phone too.
