PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) – An owner of a Port St. Lucie gun store is facing federal charges after he was found to have sold several firearms “off the books.” According to the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Michael John Pellicione, 76, who sold guns from a store in his home failed to enter the sale of five firearms into his acquisition and disposition (A&D) record. The DOJ says state law requires federal firearms licensees (FFL) to record in the A&D book, all of the firearms that the FFL receives or makes, and then indicate where each of those firearms are.
