SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – A milder start to the new week will give way to possibly historic warmth for Election Day in CNY! How high could the temperatures go Tuesday? Find out below…
Another big warm up on deck; any records this time?
It’s breezy and very mild tonight in the wake of a Monday warm front. More clouds than not stick around the rest of the night with a few passing showers possible. Lows only drop to between the upper 40s to mid-50s with readings probably rising towards 60 by daybreak.
Another taste of unseasonably warm weather arrives for Election Day Tuesday. The temperature may not touch 80 degrees like we have just experienced at the end of October, but it’ll be close with highs expected to reach the mid to upper 70s! The record Tuesday is 77 degrees set just two years ago, and we likely will challenge that. Will it be the warmest Election Day? Find out here.
There’s a chance of a shower or two very early Tuesday morning mainly north of Syracuse. After that it turns pleasant, dry, and very warm for Election Day with increasing sunshine!
