Three shooting victims in Pittsfield expected to recover

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Three Pittsfield men are recovering from gunshot wounds in separate incidents last week.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30th, officers were called to the area of the 100 block of First Street in Pittsfield for a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, a 34-year-old man from Pittsfield was found suffering from one gunshot wound and was taken to Berkshire Medical Center.

The following day at around 11 p.m. on Halloween, officers were called to the area of the 20 block of Pleasant Street in Pittsfield for a ShotSpotter activation as well as several 911 calls from shots fires. Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old man from Pittsfield suffering from one gunshot wound and was taken to Berkshire Medical Center.

An hour and a half later at 12:30 a.m. on Friday officers were called to the same area of Pleasant Street for a ShotSpotter activation and several shell casings were recovered. Just after 1:40 a.m., a 37-year-old man from Pittsfield arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.
