FRANKFORT, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — In the run-up to the 2024 General Election, no issue has been talked about more in Kentucky than Constitutional Amendment 2, otherwise known as the school choice amendment.
Simply put, a yes vote means a new section will be added to the Kentucky Constitution, enabling the general assembly to provide financial support from tax dollars to schools outside the public school system.
A no vote would keep tax dollars strictly in public schools.
The issue has been debated for years as Republicans expanded their legislative majorities in Kentucky.
