GATES, N.Y. (WROC) — Two people have been taken to the hospital after an accident in Gates led to a car crashing into a building.
The crash happened in the area of Elmgrove Road and Spencerport Road. Gates Ambulance posted on X pictures of two vehicles sustaining heavy damage. One of the cars appears to have gone up the stairs and crashed into a building.

A News 8 crew at the scene learned from police that no alcohol was involved in the crash. One of the drivers turned left in front of another driver.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
