NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after a man was stabbed and killed during an argument on a Bronx street Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 760 Bryant Ave. in Hunt’s Point at approximately 6:07 a.m., cops said.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced dead.
According to officials, the victim got into a fight with the suspect when the attacked happened. The suspect then fled in a black sedan.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
