According to the Arizona Weatherman, the next cold front to push into northern Arizona on Tuesday into Wednesday 5-6 Nov 2024, will bring a temperature drop, gusty winds, and little snow. This will not be as widespread a system as the last one, but it will still have more cold air advection.
A quick-moving cold front will be accompanied by 20-30 mph winds, especially on the Mogollon Rim. Also, expect some snow, mostly accumulating on higher peaks and only a slight amount below 6,500 feet. The big news with this system will be the colder temperatures in Northern Arizona. In Flagstaff, expect a low on Wednesday of 21 F, in the Grand Canyon at 17 F, and in other locations with high teens to low 20s. For southern Arizona, it is in the 40s and 50s for the low temperatures.
This will bring a more winter feel for northern Arizona and pleasant cooler fall temperatures for southern Arizona.
