(IowaStormCenter.com) — The next pacific storm system will bring another round of rain to the forecast area this weekend.
Confidence is growing in our next storm system to deliver more rainfall to the forecast area Friday night through Sunday.
The surface low will surge moisture into southern Iowa later Friday night with the activity continuing northward through central and northern Iowa overnight into Saturday morning.
Rainfall totals will not be quite as impressive as the last couple of systems with 0.25-0.75″ of rain statewide and the potential for locally higher amounts.
