BENSON – A 63-year-old man died in a single vehicle wreck Friday morning on Stephenson Road just west of N.C. Highway 50. Dane Browder, of Benson, was traveling westbound in his 1999 Pontiac Firebird convertible when he ran off of Stephenson Road to the right, struck a ditch and overturned, according to the State Highway Patrol.
