CNY voters share their opinion on the 2024 Election

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Tuesday, Nov. 5, is Election Day, and many voters may be feeling anxious with a divided electorate and a presidential race predicted to be among the closest in history.

“I can’t wait for it to be over,” said Patti Fries, a resident of Onondaga County.

Another resident of Onondaga County who did not want to share their name with NewsChannel 9 said, “I can’t wait for this to be over. Whichever way it goes.”

Many Central New Yorkers say they voted early and all seem to share the same opinion, they want this election to be over with.

“Once I voted, that was it. I’m good, so I hope everybody else gets out and votes,” said Jill Scofield, a North Syracuse resident.
