Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse’s annual downtown Christmas tree lighting will feature many of the same traditions and participants, but there will be one notable absence. Mayor Ben Walsh on Monday announced details of this year’s holiday-season event, set to take place 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, in Clinton Square.
