POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Polk County man is behind bars after allegedly committing a burglary and attempting to make a getaway on a stolen golf cart. 60-year-old Ronald Spiker of Fort Meade was arrested after allegedly breaking into a trailer on a small farm and stealing a television. Spiker reportedly loaded the TV onto the golf cart and fled the scene, driving through a pine grove.
