When a team is having a special season, on occasion, they need a moment that reminds them that they are, well, special. Mississippi State had a few of those on Tuesday evening, but none more special than the golden goal in the second overtime period of a 2-1 win over Tennessee. Wins over the Volunteers have tough to come by over the years for the Bulldogs. Coming into tonight, State walked off the pitch winners just two times in twenty-two tries. This evening, yielded a third win over the old school SEC power.
