Oklahomans send message they’re happy with Congressional representation, reelect all incumbents

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahomans across the state reelected all of their Republican congressional representatives.

The races were all called by The Associated Press Tuesday evening.

Kevin Hern easily won reelection in the 1st Congressional District, which largely encompasses Tulsa. He warded off Democrat Dennis Baker and independent Mark David Garcia Sanders.

In the 2nd Congressional District, voters in eastern Oklahoma chose to reelect Josh Brecheen as their U.S. Representative on Tuesday. Brecheen successfully rebuffed challenges from Democrat Brandon Wade and independent candidate Ronnie Hopkins. The Republican lawmaker has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2023.

In the race for the 4th Congressional District, incumbent Tom Cole beat back challenges from Democrat Mary Brannon and independent James Stacy to win his seat, which represents Oklahomans living in a dozen south-central counties.
