Rochester shatters Election Day record high

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — It’s official! Rochester has officially broken the record high maximum temperature set back in 2022. Rochester has clocked at 81° at 2pm this afternoon. We will continue to watch this temperature to see if rises anymore. We are also looking to see if the record high minimum temperature will be broken later this evening. The current record is 54° set back in 2022.

In addition to breaking the record, our current temperature ties the current warmest reading Rochester has ever recorded on any November day. If were to get above 81°, today will be the warmest November day Rochester has ever seen!

Get outside and enjoy the warmth and sunshine while you can because there is change on the horizon. A cold front is expected to move through the area early Wednesday morning, bringing rain showers and some cooler temperatures.
