Spokane police searching for East Central murder suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a wanted man considered armed and dangerous.

According to SPD, 33-year-old Orlando Jaramillo is wanted for second-degree murder in a stabbing that occurred last month in East Central Spokane.

SPD says officers were dispatched to E. 1st Avenue near Freya October 29 but learned the victim had already been taken by a passing motorist to the hospital.

The victim had been stabbed in an altercation and later died at the hospital.

Police say detectives interviewed witnesses and identified Jaramillo as the suspect.

He described 5’9″, 160 lbs., with brown eyes. SPD says Jaramillo has an extensive criminal history and anyone who sees him should call 911.
